Terms of service

Effective date: to be set at launch

The ground rules for using ClearAim, in plain language where we can manage it.

1.Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the ClearAim website and app (the “service”), provided by ClearAim (“ClearAim”, “we”, “us”). By using the service, you agree to them.

If you use ClearAim for a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for that company, and “you” includes the company.

2.The service

ClearAim helps leadership teams tie tasks to KPIs, outcomes and responsibilities, sends check-in emails, matches replies to tasks and prepares briefs for the CEO. We're building and improving ClearAim all the time, so features may change. If we remove something important to paying customers, we'll give reasonable notice.

3.Accounts and workspaces

  • Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
  • A company's owner and admins manage its workspace, including who is invited, their roles, settings and coach access.
  • Let us know at hello@clearaim.io if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

4.Your data

You own the data you and your team members put into ClearAim. You give us permission to host, process and display it only as needed to provide and support the service.

You're responsible for having the right to add the information you add, including details about team members you invite. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, and a data processing agreement is available on request.

You can ask for an export or full deletion of your company's data at any time. We'll complete either within 30 days.

5.Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • Use ClearAim for anything unlawful, harmful or deceptive.
  • Send spam or unwanted email through ClearAim, or invite anyone without a good reason.
  • Try to access another company's data, or get around security or usage limits.
  • Disrupt or overload the service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
  • Resell the service without our written agreement (coach plans cover client companies you serve).

6.AI features

ClearAim uses AI to match check-in replies to tasks, KPIs and outcomes and to draft briefs. AI can get things wrong, so leaders can confirm or correct matches, and you stay responsible for decisions you make based on the service. We use the Anthropic API under commercial terms, and your data is not used to train models.

7.Plans, trials and payment

  • Plans are priced per company, as listed on our pricing page.
  • Free trials don't need a card. When a trial ends, you can choose a plan or stop.
  • Once paid plans launch, they're billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor. Prices don't include taxes unless we say so.
  • We'll give at least 30 days' notice before a price change affects your plan.
  • You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't refund partial periods unless the law requires it.

8.Coaches and advisors

A coach can see a client company's workspace only while that company has coach access turned on. The client company can turn it off at any time. Coaches agree to use client data only to serve that client.

9.Suspension and ending service

You can stop using ClearAim at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or if we must to protect the service or other customers, and we'll tell you why when we can. After an account ends, you can still ask for an export or deletion within 30 days.

10.Our service and feedback

ClearAim, including its software, design and brand, belongs to us. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve ClearAim without any obligation to you. Thank you, too.

11.Disclaimers

We work hard to keep ClearAim reliable and accurate, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.

12.Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, ClearAim isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13.Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll change the effective date above. For meaningful changes, we'll let account owners know by email before they take effect. Continuing to use ClearAim after that means you accept the updated terms.

14.Governing law

The governing law and venue for these terms will be set at launch.

15.Contact
